Spot and stalk black bear hunt’s take place Spring and Fall. This outfitter’s main hunting area includes Berland, McCloud, Athabasca and Elk River Watersheds where their Wildlife Management Units are located. Rolling hills and flowing water best describes this area that is dotted with reforested clear cuts, pipelines covered in blueberries and river ridges that attract large black bears that come in a variety of color phases.

These guides have hunted this area for decades, and know where and when the best time and places are to harvest a beautiful Canadian Black Bear. You will hunt these trophy bears by covering ground checking clear cuts, pipelines and south facing river ridges for feeding Bears on ATV’s, and 4×4’s and also utilizing tree stands, blinds and predetermined vantage points for glassing in areas known for big black bears, all producing excellent success rates.
