Alaska – Talkeetna Range Grizzly Bear Hunt

Spring and Fall hunts, conducted by snowmachine (spring only), horseback, and ATVs. Outfitter lets you stay until you harvest your bear. Snowmachine hunts are done near denning areas, ambushing a big bear as he comes and goes from his winter den, or on a recent moose kill. Fall hunting is lots of glassing, until you locate the right bear. Cabin accommodations for the most part, wall tent camps if necessary. Horseback hunts in the fall, which is unusual for Alaska.
